SIDING OPTIONS

The siding is the first thing you see when you look at the structure in your yard. It's important to choose the right material, and to help you with an overview of our four siding options are listed below. You can choose a traditional shed look with 5/8-inch T1-11 Pressure Treated & Sealed siding or go for a 3/8-inch LP Smart Panel which can be painted or stained in different colors. There is also Vertical Metal Siding available. It's made from high-quality 29-gauge steel and comes with a 30-year limited warranty against rust-through. This siding has a premium architectural look, is environmentally friendly, and reflects solar heat better than other options.

    T1 – 11 is tried and true, premium grade real plywood exterior siding that is protected against rotting, fungal decay and termites.

    Our vertical metal siding (and roofing) is made from high – grade 29 – gauge steel and includes a 30 – year limited warranty against rust – through. It provides a premium architectural appearance, is 100% recyclable and reflects solar heat better than other options.

  • 5/8” FIR

    Fir siding is great option for customers looking for a natural wood exterior product. The wood is very strong for its weight and is one of the hardest and heaviest softwoods available in North America.

    Double studded at siding seams to ensure edges are fastened to a full stud

FLOORING OPTIONS

You can choose between Engineered Tongue & Groove or Pressure Treated Square Edge for the floor decking material of your shed. There may be extra charges depending on the material and thickness you choose. The standard flooring is strong enough to hold up to 300 lbs. of weight, distributed evenly over an area that's at least 5 inches by 5 inches. If you want more choices, you can ask your local dealer.

We have different options for the way your shed is built, like the size and spacing between the floor joists and wall studs, as well as the roof trusses. These choices matter depending on how you plan to use the shed and what you want to keep inside. Our framing options can be useful for DIYers, especially if you want to add insulation. DOOR OPTIONS

When choosing doors for your shed, consider how you plan to use it. If you have a riding mower, you might prefer double barn doors or a roll-up garage door.   • PROTECTIVE BARRIERS

    Our protective barriers help shield your shed from the elements. Depending on the climate, they can be critical for the longevity of your outdoor building, especially if you are looking to insulate the structure. A vapor barrier is a layer of insulation that provides moisture control. Tar paper captures moisture underneath asphalt roof shingles and is a critical first layer for sheds using shingle roofs.

  • RADIANT HEAT BARRIERS

    This Option Varies by Location

    Our radiant barriers possess impressive energy efficiency, reducing building temperatures by up to 30% by reflecting the sun’s heat. Tech Shield Radiant Heat Barriers are moisture resistant and energy efficient, but also help to meet local energy codes for outdoor buildings with either shingle or metal roofing. A Silver Tech Radiant Barrier reduces heat transfer and locks in cool air, keeping your storage items free of heat damage.
